Here is a short Video of Favre getting introduced Pre-Game. What a moment.

These are the Official Brats of Lambeau Field. Johnsonville Brats!

A Brat Must Contain Kraut When At Lambeau

Yummy!

Even More Friggin Pictures from The Packers Ass Kicking of the God Awful Rade-ers

More Pics from Lambeau Field Vs Raiders

I have been to quite a few Football Games and Stadiums in my day. As these pictures will hopefully show, there is no place like Green bay Wisconsin! Labeau field is easily the best place in the NFL to see a football game. The 20 degree weath
er did nothing to dampen this day.  unfortunately my camera battery died right after kickoff.  One quick note, Sebastian Janikowski the Raiders kicker was Nailing pre-game field goals from the 50 (60 Yrds) and 40 (70yrds). the 70 yarder hit half way up the net and probably would have been good from 80yrs. And there was no tee. Balls were snapped from Center to his holder. It was quite a sight.

Here are some tail gate pictures.....

One of the Packer Backer -G-Force Tail Gating Party Buses!

These guys go around playing music. Drummer, Banjo Player,  Tuba, Trumpet, Clarinet.. They where GREAT!

Looking Down From the Atrium Entrance. Never seen so many Hunting Outfits in my life!

Another Packer Mobile Tail-Gaters Wet Dream!!

The Legend of Green Bay. That is correct women disrobe there "Puppy Holders" and fly them high on the pole. Kim thought it was too complicated to disrobe 10 layers of clothing to add hers to the deal.

Lambeau Field - Arrival at Mecca

I snapped this Photo in front of the Atrium Entrance..

Then we looked over and Saw...
Charles Woodson... Who asked me what time it was Dude? I told him 10 and he said thanks dude.

I will post details of this trip when I get back but for know here are some pictures of me & Kim and thinks like me in the Master Suite, On the Field, Brett Favre, Sitting at Coach Lombardi's Desk!! And 3 Super bowl trophys!

Mecca Calling

Of course immediately after we check in at the Country Inn & Suites ($200 a night during Packer Home Games, $89 on any other day) we drove to Lambeau which is only 2 miles from our hotel. This picture was taken upon arriving. There will be more to follow!

Greetings from Green Bay Wisconsin!

So who in their right mind goes to Wisconsin for Vacation in December? A Flor-englander that's who.

We made it. And before today I would have told you that I would NEVER again make this trip. To hell with Google directions because the 22 Hours they quoted me was WAY off. We left Tierra Verde at 6pm on the button. Drove till 3:30Am and stayed at a Holiday Inn Express somewhere in Georgia (about 50 miles from Chatanooga TN). Left at 8:30Am and arrived in Green Bay on Thursday Night at 11:36pm Florida Time. So thats 9.5 + 15 for a total of 24 1/2 Hours!!

So here is a Picture of me pumping even more gas into "Old Shana" just over the border in Wisconsin about 3 hours south of Green Bay. Cold?.. Snow... Shitty driving conditions?.... Not for a New Englander! Yes leaving the 80 degree weather of TV for 19 degrees was a momentary shock. And driving in 4" of snow took about 3 minutes to remember. But the Under Armour shorts and Chuck Lidell T-shirt was all I needed after the 3 minute shock of "Its's F'in Cold". The Yanks jacket has been replaced by a shinny new Packers Throwback!!

NFL Week 13 Picks - johnny Tampa rebounds!

Here are the Football Picks for Week 13. Expect a BIG comeback from Johnny Tampa This week..

Detroit @ Vikings - humm. How healthy is A.P.? Kitna guaranteed 10 dub-a-yous. If peterson is healthy he can run for 250 yards in this one. I take the Vikings reluctantly.

Seahawks @ Eagles - Seahawks. QB controversy in Phily. Don't expect DM OR AR returning next year.

SD @ KC - I'll take KC in an upset. Norv Turner is the Worst head coach in history and LT is having a horrible season.

Jets @ Miami - Ill take another upset here in the battle of the worst teams in the AFC. Miami cant go 0-16. this is the only winnable game they have left. Miami Wins.

JAX @ Indy - Marvin Harrison the pussy he is will probably sit because he has a tooth ache. Even so they win @ home.

San Fran @ Carolina - Panthers in an easy one.

Houston @ Tennessee - Ten D wins this one. White has been a non factor lately. I still like Jeff Fischer and they win at home.

ATL @ STL - Rams win this one. Jackson should kill in this game.

BILLS @ SKINS - Bills win. Too much tragedy this week for the Skins. the old "They will win for him" mantra never works. I would expect a blowout.

Browns @ Arizona - This is the game I want to see. I expect about 800 yards in Passing between Anderson and Warner. I like the Browns to win a close one with INTs playing a major role in this game.

DEN @ OAK - Tough game to pick. I'll take OAK. Fargas should have a field day against this swiss cheese D.

NY in Chi-town - Eli Manning is horrible. Hester is unreal. I like Chicago to win.

Tampa @ New Orleans - Bucs need to win this game on the road to validate this year's unprobable season. I just do not think they are all that good. My pick NO.

Cinci @ Pitt - Rothlisberger looked good on Monday night passing in the monsoon. Carson likes to throw picks. Problem here is Cinci has ZERO running game and it looks like weather could be an issue which obviously helps the Steelers. Another thing is how good can that field be after monday Night?? I want Cinci to win but my brain picks the Steelers. Steelers Win.

NE @ Baltimore - For the record I pick NE in every game including the Playoffs and Superbowl and the first 3 games next season. The reason why should be obvious.

Also looking forward to my pilgrimage to MECCA... AKA Lambeau Field. I am greatful that Brett is playing next week. Because it would suck ass to drive 1400 miles from Tampa to Green Bay (More on this drive later) and not see him leading the team. I pray for 2 feet of snow and 30 degree weather! I have my #66 ready my Packers hoody and will pick up some long john's in Wisconsin. Really looking forward to my dinner reservations at Brett Favre's Streakhouse on Friday Night.. I already know what I'm getting. 12oz Filet Medium Rare, Onion Soup, Some of Favre secret recipe Gumbo!! Can't wait!! Then I can't wait for the Packers to otally manhandle to lowly "Steve The Candle" Silver & Black!!!

Will post pictures of the journey from 80 degree weather to 15 degree weather..

Also if anyone other than my 2 subscribers reads this... let me know of any good Strip Clubs in Green Bay!!

Pack @ Boys - Johnny Tampa's Picks

Although I did Pick the Steelers Monday (Dolphins won Spread Wise).. I missed in my Blow-out prediction. Nevertheless I will take the W.

That makes me 7-5-1 (The 1 for the Cinci game I forgot to pick... For the record I picked the Bengals) .

Now for Thursday Night Football brought to you by NFL Network. Great to see that the 2nd most anticipated game this year will not be played on national TV as a majority of American households do not get NFL Network. Good Job Roger Goodell, this is as smart a move as NHL being seen on Versus Network between Championship rock climbing and sloop racing from Milan. .

Here we go..

Green Bay is a seven-point underdog in Dallas. Green Bay is also 9-1-1 against the spread ( 8-0-1 last nine road games) and 7-0 against the spread in its last seven games as an underdog.

Dallas is 7-1 against the spread in their last 8 vs the NFC & 4-1 against the spread in their last 5 games as a home favorite.

So whats it all mean?

Favre has never beaten Dallas in Dallas. Everything else aside, I take the Pack in this one. The Pack are firing on all cylinders and Favre cant finish his career without a win in Dallas. Now I also like the Pack and how they matchup against Big D defensively. Nick Collins is back to add some depth in the 2ndary, and hopefully KGB will play and put some pressure on Tony Romo. Another wild card is whether Woodson is healthy enough to contribute.

I expect a true Gun Slingin' Texas Shootout in this one. I just think Dallas will be out coached by Mike McCarthy (Made Kitna look horrible on Turkey Day and Kitna is no slouch / Roy Williams was also held in Check take Note TO) , Tony Romo will make too many throwing errors (This is too Big a game for the Kid) and Favre will show his strips as one of the best QB's in history removing the Cowboy streak from his personal slate.

Expect the winner of this game to face the Pats in the Super Bowl.

GB - 33 Dallas - 27

Trans Ocean Inc - RIG

What a wonderful day to be a stock holder. One of my favorite stocks over the last year and a half as been Trans Ocean ( RIG ). In case you have been wondering why there is a link to its corporate website on this page ( deepwater.com ) its because I Freaking Love This company!

Well today the big merger has been finalized! The stock is up about 4% as I right this, and my Fidelity account is transferring all my shares to what will be a GOLIATH of a company. Its also benefiting from the news of Being added to the S&P.

The deal here is simple.. Two of the largest companies in the business of Off Shore Dilling Platform Leasing are merging. Global Santa Fe and Trans Ocean. As of today the stock will have a reverse split and a cash payment of $33 per share. TAX FREE!

Now what I like about this deal is the opportunity to re-invest this cash into the combined super company. With the blow out quarters these two have and a combined stock trading at a stupid multiple on 08 Earnings, A backlog of business second to none and a recession proof business that does not move based on crude prices or this sub-prime bs, this only makes sense.

As I never give stock picks, but everyone close to me knows I love this company as it makes sense and has a licence to print green-back!

Do some research on it. Unless of course your foolish enough to think the big C has bottomed or Gold is the place to be!

Monday Night Football Picks Week 12 Dolphins & Steelers

Alright after a decent weekend of Picks where I lost two games by pure bad luck (Niners upsetting Warner's 500 yard master piece & Herm Edwards IDIOTIC call not to kick a god damn Field Goal to Tie on 4th and 2, a 30 some-odd yard chip shot with 4 minutes left in the game and 1 Timeout!!!), I am ready and rested...

I spoke all day of picking a Monday Night Upset. On paper this looks like a sure thing. Awful run defense against arguably the leagues best rusher (Fast Will Parker). Rookie QB -vs- Top D. In Pittsburgh no less. Then the following comes into play.. WR S. Holmes out. Hines Ward Still dinged up. Rothlisberger has bad games. Willie plain don't score this year. The Dolphins can't go 0-16 not with "Are you taking the pot" R. Williams back!! Plus isn't Monday Night made for Cinderella story like upsets?

Yes it is.

But not this Monday Night. 16 points?? Come On! Take Pit to win 34 - 6 Willy Parker with a career game here. I would be surprise if he is held under 150 and 2 TDs.

Steelers Win BIG!! Give the Points & Live On The Edge Like A Man!!

NFL Football Picks from JohnyTampa - Week 12

NFL Football Picks - Week 12 - from JohnyTampa

Alright here is my first installment. I usually pick at about a 75% clip. Now that I am blogging my picks, I will be happy with a 50% win rate.

I will post my picks ever Sunday Morning... So here we go..

Seattle at St. Louis
- Rams in a upset.
Minnesota at NY Giants - Giants are not so good but Min on the road is worse.
Buffalo at Jacksonville - I like Buffalo to pull an upset but I'm taking the Jags.
New Orleans at Carolina - This is the game I am having trouble with. Brees is either red hot or Ice cold. Same for RBush who I think is a bust. Panthers D at home is my pick.
Washington at Tampa Bay - Bucs at home. Retire Gibbs while you still have a small shread of dignity.
Houston at Cleveland - Browns & Anderson in a blowout.
Tennessee at Cincinnati - Tough game here.
Oakland at Kansas City - Like KC in Arrowhead.
San Francisco at Arizona - Arizona at home. Alex Smith Who?
Baltimore at San Diego - Baltimore is pathetic with the ball. San Diego is not as pathetic with the ball. SD
Denver at Chicago - On the rope here. I'll Pick The Bears. Cutler is a young gun slinger but special teams wins this.
Philadelphia at New England - Please NE in another route. McNabb is an awful QB and Westbrook cannot carry them over the tough as nails NE D

Hello World!

Welcome to the opinionated world that is me... JohnnyTampa. Expect brash talk. Honesty. My point of view. Everything from politics to the Stock Market to sports to general society. To basic stuff that just pisses me off.

Don't expect anything sugar coated. Don't expect good spelling. If your easily offended, Tuff.

There are a lot of things that just plain piss me off.

So here is my place in CyberSpace to sound off. If anyone listens great! If nobody does? Oh Well. I will still sleep well tonight!

So here we go! Hang on and enjoy the ride!
